SUMMARY:DIY Chest Binder Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Hey y’all! We have been SO excited to announce this one!! On October 14th from 11-3pm\, we will be hosting a DIY Binder Workshop with @shapeshiftersinc . We will be learning what fabrics to use\, how to measure for\, and create our perfect binders! This is a FREE workshop- we will provide materials\, lunch and snacks\, and we have a limited number of sewing machines available for use. Registration is required and we would LOVE to see y’all there. Here is the link to register: https://forms.gle/iTm4qBsRAAide8yc7 \nThis event is open to all ages. Youth under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian fill out a permission form. We will also require an adult to attend the event with youth who have no sewing machine experience. \nYou are welcome (and encouraged) to bring your own sewing machine\, if you’ve got one. We do have a limited number of sewing machines available to borrow for this workshop; if you don’t have one of your own\, or cannot bring your machine\, please sign up to use one of our machines when you register. \nParking is available in the public parking lot behind the library. As the Hamilton Farmers’ Market will be open during this event\, this parking lot may be tight (or full). You can park on the grass around the parking lot\, if the paved lot is full. Street parking in Hamilton is free and unlimited if you park on residential streets around the library. Street parking in front of shops and businesses in town is limited to 3 hours. You will be able to drop off your supplies by the back door even if the library lot is full. Please let us know if you have mobility issues requiring closer parking.
